The new spa town of Merano

Meran’s thermal baths are more than a further addition to the feel-good facilities at this well known health resort; they are an architectural highlight, too. The exciting glass and steel cube is the heart of the new spa complex on the south bank of the River Passer. The plaza created between the thermal baths and the hotel is the ideal place to sit and relax in the open-air café and an attractive meeting point for the resort as a whole.
 
The spacious park is divided into two sections, with one reserved for the exclusive use of visitors to the thermal baths, while the rest is open to the public. The park is thus a centrally located oasis of peace and quiet not only for spa visitors but for all the people of Meran and their guests.
